Last week Friday we had the usual pizza. Saturday we went to the Ale House for dinner (except for Emma, who was exhausted after her first week of school and XC practice and her first XC meet, so we just brought her something home)

Todd’s out of town all week so it’s just me and the kids:

Sunday – chicken noodle soup (don’t have one recipe for this, kind of mish mash a few – basically chicken broth, chicken, carrots, onion, celery if I have it, s&p, maybe parsley, then egg noodles – sometimes saute the veggies in butter before adding, sometimes just throw everything in the crockpot) with homemade french bread http://www.melskitchencafe.com/french-bread/

Monday – parmesan garlic spaghetti (except I don’t use the parm – Liam & Emma love this) http://damndelicious.net/2016/01/01/parmesan-garlic-spaghetti/
with bruschetta using leftover french bread from last night and tomatoes from the garden: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/54165/balsamic-bruschetta/?internalSource=hub%20recipe&referringContentType=search%20results&clickId=cardslot%202

Tuesday – brisket & cornbread (leftover and frozen from last week) with mashed potatoes

Wednesday – Freddy’s burgers http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/freddys-burgers/
with probably frozen fries or tater tots; salad

Thursday – grilled cheese (homemade bread: http://www.dinnerwithjulie.com/2012/03/04/julia-childs-white-sandwich-bread/) and tomato soup http://www.thugkitchen.com/roasted_tomato_soup

Friday – Todd will still be out of town and Emma will be at an overnight XC meet so just me and 2 kiddos. Maybe we’ll do the usual pizza (maybe eat some of the leftover pieces out of the freezer) or maybe we’ll mix it up a bit!
